Your poems are not the stuff of talk.bizarre;
They're pondorously long and often dull.
To me they seem below poetry's par,
Mundanely said with sentiments that stul-
tify the average reader's mind. Take note:
Your shopworn imagery should not be here.
Your ordinary poems have missed the boat.
You should away from here at once, I fear.

If poetry we want to here peruse
We'll look to Elspeth. That's to say: You lose.
