What is talk.bizarre?
This question has been answered many times by others, generally with greater skill than I could hope to conjure up. John Woods's talk.bizarre page is a good example, with sample postings, reading and writing guides, and so on. Unfortunately as I write this it hasn't been updated in years but it's still an excellent guide.
For an opposing view I go to Lloyd Wood, who once said:
this is one of t.b's larger failings.
You're just not as bizarre as you make out. Or as cool.
Read it for yourself and judge. (Non-talk.bizarre-poster Matt McIrvin has some tips that may make the experience more pleasant.)
Things I've written for talk.bizarre
I first posted to talk.bizarre in 1993. Since then I have posted many things, including Scorched Earth Party missives, Archimedes's Fables, and other stuff.
The Scorched Earth Party
alt.politics.scorched-earth's colonization by talk.bizarre regulars began in 1994 with Jeff Vogel's posting of the first version of the Scorched Earth Party faq to a.p.s-e. Here are my contributions to this political movement.

Archimedes's Fables
An ongoing series.
- Archimedes's Fables #1: The Jug. Written for Fail to Suck Day 1998.
- Archimedes's Fables #2: The Painter. Also written for Fail to Suck Day 1998.
- Archimedes's Fables #3: The Race against Time. Not very good and for that reason not included here.
- Archimedes's Fables #4: The King and the Jester. Written for a zine in July of 2001.
- Archimedes's Fables #5: The Dicksize War. Not linked to here because it was later determined to be mathematically flawed. (The horror, the horror!)
