Do the users know something we don't? (ST102315)
This guy called up with a Eudora MacTCP problem, so I started asking him
questions to find where the problem lay. He seemed to be getting annoyed
with me asking him all these questions, so I decided to explain to him
why I was doing it. "What I'm trying to do is figure out whether the problem
is with Eudora, your account, or your network connection." He said, "Oh,
well I would think that it would be with my account." Curious, I asked,
"On what basis?" Silence followed.
I guess this was kind of rude, though I didn't mean it to be. Oh, well.
