I hope it answers your question.

You forgot the bacon, HERETIC!

The original food pyramid looked like this:

               ^
              / \
             / \
            /lard \
           / (0-3 \
          /servings)\
         /-------+---\
        /Poisono-|pick\
       /us Asian |les(2\
      /plants (1-|-4ser-\
     /3 servings)| vings \
    /--------+-+----------\
   / bacon | White \
  / (3-6 | Castles \
 / servings) |(4-7 servings) \
/____________|________________\

However, after prolonged lobbying from Kibologists from pickle, cheese, and antibacon producing states the Kibological Department of Food and Food-Like Substances finally caved in and revised the food pyramid to its current state.

Some criticized this as a cynical playing of politics in a bad way with the health and nutrition of whoever pays attention of these things with sort of negative implications, but in defense of revising the pyramid others pointed out that pyramids are supposed to be three-dimensional, ACTUALLY, and so the whole thing was STUPID AND DOOMED from the START.
