A map of northeast US and souteast Canada

This roughly shows the route I took to get to QC. I essentially took 95 north to 93 to 91 to 55 to 20. Incidentally, there's a flaw in this map.

A map of Vieux Quebec

Here's a basic map of Vieux Quebec where we spent most of our time. I stayed in a hotel at the location marked "3".

Eamon(?) playing a red plastic trumpet

Somebody, I think it's Eamon, playing one of the trumpets that could be purchased in various shops in Quebec.

Next there are some pictures of ice sculptures.

an ice sculpture of a conductor

a picture of a jester holding a finger to his lips.

a wall of fish.

For some reason a lot of people have trouble believing these fish are made out of ice (as opposed to, say, marble). I don't know why.

a polar bear menacing a penguin

A bike which is locked to a fence and is almost completely covered in snow

Yes, that's a bike.

View from the bottom of the Montmorency Falls

This is the view from the bottom of the Montmorency Falls.

a disturbing-looking doll.

This disturbing item was available at the gift shop in the hotel at the top of Montmorency Falls.

Another picture of the falls

Another shot of the Montmorency Falls.

Looking down over the bridge that goes over the top of the falls.

There's a bridge that goes over the top of the falls. This is what it looks like if you look straight down.

A nifty picture of the river and bridges going over it

This is a picture of the St. Lawrence river taken from the top of the falls.

Matt and K. and maybe Dr. Dave on the bridge over the falls

Here are Matt Skala, K., and someone who I think is Dave Halgren on the bridge that goes over the top of the falls.

The falls at night.

A snow angel

A snow angel. I believe Dawn was responsable for its creation.

Stevi's tattoo

Stevi shows off her tattoo.

Yong-Mi in front of a decorative park bench made out of ice.

Yong-Mi standing in front of a park bench made of ice. I believe the smiling figure carved into the bench is supposed to be Bonhomme, the mascot (or something) of the winter carnival.

an ice sculpture of a maple leaf

an odd sculpture of a woman in motley (or more accurately falling out of motley) carreening down a metal ramp.

This odd sculpture was found in Old Quebec. Waider can be seen puzzling at it towards the rear.
